Terms of Use
By downloading or using the Park Quest iOS app you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
License
Park Quest grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on iOS devices you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store terms.
Acceptable use
- Be safe outdoors. Follow posted park rules, supervise children, and use your own judgment.
- Don't submit fake park entries or harassing content via the Add-a-Park form.
- Don't attempt to game the badge system with photos that don't represent a real outdoor activity.
The Certified Backyard Naturalist badge
Physical badges are mailed by hand to families who reach 20 photo-verified adventures and submit a valid mailing address. We may limit one badge per household and may decline to fulfill claims that appear fraudulent.
User content
Photos and journal entries you create stay on your device. If you choose to email us anything (e.g. a park suggestion), you grant us a limited license to use that submission to operate the app.
Disclaimer
Park Quest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Outdoor activity carries inherent risks; you are responsible for your own and your family's safety.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Park Quest is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
You can stop using Park Quest at any time by deleting it from your device.
